Meeting of the AIG Board of Directors

On the 18th of February, the Board of Directors of the Académie Internationale de la Gastronomie (AIG) held its first post-COVID meeting. All members were present, led by President Jean Vitaux and Honorary President Jacques Mallard. After welcoming the new President of Spain’s Real Academia de Gastronomia, Mrs Lourdes Plana Bellido who has replaced Rafael Anson, the meeting, lasting over two hours, examined the circumstances of the AIG’s member States and accepted prize nominations, including Italy’s entries presented by President Paolo Petroni.
All decisions will be brought before the next General Assembly, on 5 March, for approval.
