X Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World

A note from the Foreign Ministry, signed by Counsellor Lara Lanzarini of the Directorate-General for Country Promotion, confirms that this year, the X Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World may be celebrated over more flexible dates. The initiative “Italian cuisine between health, culture and innovation” holds up Italian cuisine as a healthy, balanced and sustainable model, pointing to research, innovation and national cultural value in line with Italian cuisine’s UNESCO Intangible Heritage candidature, regarding which a final vote is to be held in New Delhi between the 8th and 13th of December.
The note encourages the promotion of cultural and awareness-raising initiatives while avoiding for-profit enterprises.
