An event on Tuesday 19 November 2024 at 16:30 held at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in the Farnesina Palace will present the ninth edition of Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World (16-22 November), whose goal is to promote Italy’s excellent food and wine and support exports, tourism and internationalisation.
The conference will be opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida.
There will be a panel discussion between highly qualified speakers from Italy’s food and agricultural production sector, including representatives from the trade, food and agricultural organisations ICE, Confagricoltura, Coldiretti, Filiera Italia and Federalimentare. During the event there will be presentations of the project “Accademia della Cultura Enogastronomica Italiana” (Italian Food and Wine Culture Academy) and the programme for collaboration by Italy’s diplomatic and consular network and Italian Cultural Institutes in the ninth Food Week.
The Academy will be represented by Alessandro Di Giovanni, President's Council Member and Delegate of Rome Nomentana.
