While visiting São Paulo for the G20 ministers’ meeting in Brazil, Italy’s Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida (on the left in the photo) met our São Paulo Delegate Gerardo Landulfo and Academicians Domenico Fornara, Consul General in São Paulo, and Alberto Mayer, President of COMITES. During their conversation, the Minister had the opportunity to appreciate the intense activity of the Academy and its Delegation and learn more about such relevant subjects as the influence of Italian immigration on Brazilian food habits and the candidature of Italian cuisine for UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status.
