The ninth volume of the Food Culture Library, The Farmer’s Table: Field, Stable and Courtyard, will be in bookshops in a few days. It has also been sent to the Delegates for delivery to all Academicians during the ecumenical dinner celebrating this year’s theme.
This handsome volume, published by Bolis, results from painstaking work by the Regional Study Centres and abounds in regional recipes (over 190) from a ‘poor’ cuisine which is nevertheless rich in ingenuity and creativity.
