Another milestone to support Italian Cuisine’s UNESCO candidature


On 2 July, Gianmarco Mazzi, Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Culture, called a meeting to coordinate all parties involved in promoting Italian Cuisine’s UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage candidature. President Paolo Petroni was represented by President’s Council member Alessandro Di Giovanni.
Past and future initiatives were presented for international assessment, whose result will be announced in December in New Delhi.
As a member of the Promotion Committee, the Academy will provide all necessary assistance through its Delegations and Legations numbering over 90.
