The events of the 77th World Food Day will kick off on October 14 with the annual ceremony at FAO headquarters.
The FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu will be joined by the Heads of the other UN agencies based in Rome and other special guests will attend the ceremony, which will feature special messages from Pope Francis and the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres.
