The History of Italian Cuisine in Comics is an official text of Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto

There has been great interest abroad following the publication of History of Italian Cuisine in Comics, translated into 8 languages and available in e-book format. Only months after the Japanese version was completed, the prestigious Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, upon the initiative of Professor Masayoshi Ishida of the College of Gastronomy Management, has adopted the book in digital form as an official text of its course on the Mediterranean Diet. On the occasion of the first lecture, the Osaka and Kansai Legate, Francesco Santi Formiconi - following frequent contact in recent months with the professor, who was interested in the publication from the very beginning - introduced the enthusiastic Japanese students to the activities of the Academy and their Legation, and presented the volume which is garnering substantial success.
